Dogs die in Fareham house fire
Six crews from Cosham, Portchester, Fareham, Southsea and St Mary’s were called to a house fire in Kenwood Road in which two terriers died.Support vehicles, including an Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP), also attended.Two people were treated by HFRS for smoke inhalation.Two bulldogs were rescued and taken to safety.The fire broke out in the kitchen of a first-floor maisonette which spread to the roof space and affected two properties.There were 10 breathing apparatus, two jets and three hose reels used.The stop message was at 15:38.An investigation is underway.
