Commercial fire – Eastleigh

An investigation has been launched after a fire in the reception of a gym in Eastleigh in the early hours of this morning (Saturday 07 January).Crews from Eastleigh and St Marys were called to Samson’s Gym on Chamberlayne Road and tackled a small fire which caused damage to the reception area. Crews used one hose reel, one jet and two sets of breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.No one was injured in the incident and the stop message was received at 00:39. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
