Blaze at derelict former nursing home in Farnborough

More than 40 firefighters tackled a blaze at a derelict former nursing home.Crews from Rushmoor, Basingstoke and Odiham tackled the flames with three engines from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.Two Aerial Ladder Platforms (ALP) were also at the scene in Sorrel Close, Farnborough.Crews used four jets and 12 sets of breathing apparatus.The roof and first floor were severely damaged in the fire and the ground floor was also affected.The stop message was at 20:55.
