Animals die in Hook fire

Five pigs, two sheep and one goat have died following a fire in Hook this morning.Hartley Wintney, Fleet and Surrey crews were called to a fire in a range of outbuildings used as storage and stables on Farnham Road.The outbuildings suffered 100% damage by the fire with four hose reel jets involved in stopping the blaze. Sadly the eight animals were declared deceased at the scene with an Animal Rescue Adviser treating another couple of animals.Our Fire Investigation team were also in attendance along with a local vet. The stop message came in at 13:17.
