About 70 firefighters tackle Titchfield workshop fire

Firefighters tackled a large workshop fire for almost seven hours.Eight fire engines plus support vehicles and relief crews extinguished the blaze at Laveys Lane in Titchfield today.About 70 firefighters were involved and used an aerial ladder platform, jets and hose reels.The crews involved included those from Fareham, Hightown, Southsea, Portchester, Cosham, Eastleigh, Hamble, Gosport, Romsey, Bordon and Andover.The incident started at 12.53 and ended at 19.42.
