How to contact us3SFire Community Interest Company is wholly-owned by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Authority. Earned profits support a wide range of fire risk, prevention and safety awareness initiatives that complement the statutory activities of the fire and rescue authority.
Our trainers and consultants all have a fire service background enabling them to share their knowledge and expertise gained in real emergencies or fire safety situations. We regularly assess and improve our courses to ensure they align with latest legislation and best practice.
We have delivered our specialist training to a wide variety of businesses across the private, public and third sectors that have all consistently provided us with positive feedback and repeat custom.
3SFire was inaugurated in 2013 by Hampshire Fire and Rescue Authority (HFRA) as its wholly owned fire trading business. The Company quickly expanded its range of trading activities across many sectors of the fire industry and gained a breadth of public and private sector customers. Subsequently, 3SFire established itself as one of the most stable and successful fire authority-owned trading companies.
In April 2021, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Authority (HIWFRA) supported the conversion of 3SFire to become a Community Interest Company (CIC) which enabled the business to more closely align the benefits of its trading activities with the objectives of the fire service’s community safety and engagement plans. Following the difficult challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, 3SFire CIC has embarked on an exciting new chapter of growth and delivery for the benefit of both its customers and community.
We aim to maximise the positive impacts of our ongoing investments in projects or programmes that promote safety and wellbeing across Hampshire & the Isle of Wight. In particular, we will support community schemes that complement the “together we make life safer” goal of HIWFRS’s Safety Plan and Community Safety Strategy. The outcomes of our trading activities will also benefit the safety and wellbeing of communities served by our customers across the country. Among many other activites, 3SFire provide financial support to our Prince’s Trust programme and Fire Cadets.
