  1. Recent incidentHampshire and Dorset crews tackle New Forest silo fire13/11/2017New Milton, Lymington and Eastleigh firefighters joined crews from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service to tackle a fire involving grain drying machinery and a silo in Beckley. After locating the fire, crews wore breathing apparatus to empty the silo of grain. Two high pressure hose reels and two main jets were also used in the incident to extinguish the fire, with the stop message coming in at 00:45.
  2. Recent incidentFire spreads through Andover terrace09/11/2017A pair of terraced houses were badly damaged after a severe fire in Andover. Crews were called to King George Road when the fire started in a bedroom of one of the properties. The flames spread through the roof space of the house into a neighbouring home, but around 30 firefighters worked to ensure the fire was contained only to the two properties.   3. Recent incidentPassengers evacuated as bus catches fire on Portsmouth hill09/11/2017A fire in the engine of a bus caused the evacuation of its passengers on Portsdown Hill Road, Portsmouth. The double decker burst into flames just after 9.21am on Portsdown Hill Road and everyone was taken off the vehicle. Firefighters in breathing apparatus used hoses to extinguish the fire in the engine compartment and a fan was also used to move smoke. No-one was hurt and the incident was concluded by 9.56am.

Recent incidentKitchen fire tackled by Portsmouth crews08/11/2017Southsea and Portchester crews were called to a property on Eldon Street where a cooking fire had broken out in the ground floor flat of a three-storey building. Persons were originally reported to be in the building but all occupants were soon accounted for, with one female being assisted from the property and provided with IEC. Recent incidentBrunel House, Portsmouth, thankfully high-rise alarm call out05/11/2017Crews from Southsea, Cosham, Havant, Fareham and the aerial ladder platform from Southsea, were called to reports of a high-rise fire at vacant property, Brunel House, The Hard, Portsmouth. All 10 floors of the building were checked and no signs of a fire were found. The building was then handed back to the onsite security team. The stop came in at 17:45.
  6. Recent incidentFire crews called after 27-tonne crane overturns02/11/2017One man was extricated from the cab of a 27-tonne crane that had fallen on its side into a building. Five vehicles from Basingstoke Fire Station were called to the property on Pitman Close in Basingstoke. The Aerial Ladder Platform was used to help extricate the man trapped in the cab who fortunately escaped injury. After the stop message at 11:06 one crew remained on the scene for vehicle and building stabilisation.
  7. Recent incidentFirework sparks shed fire in Camberley31/10/2017A stray firework set a plastic storage shed and a conifer tree alight on Woodbridge Road in Camberley last night. One crew from Yateley and one from Camberley Fire Station in Surrey used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire which also affected rubbish located behind a domestic garage.   8. Recent incidentGosport house fire spreads to neighbouring homes27/10/2017We were alerted to a house fire in Gazelle Close, Gosport just after 15:00. Crews from Gosport, Fareham, Cosham and the aerial ladder platform from Southsea attended, making this a six pump job with 24 firefighters and supporting officers. The fire was in a terrace block in the properties conservatory kitchen, where the fire unfortunately spread to the neighbours first floor and roof.
