Fire as a Health Asset

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Services’ Fire as a Health Asset team is responsible for overseeing and delivering:

  • prevention initiatives in the health arena;
  • the implementation of medical response;
  • the co-responding partnership with South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS)

We are committed to using our professional capability in the most effective and efficient way, not limiting ourselves to what may be viewed as the traditional responsibilities of a fire and rescue service. We aim to help our local communities to Start Well, Live Well and Age Well by offering education, prevention and response services.
