Strategic Projects
Strategic projects include the work necessary to provide a smooth transition from the existing Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) Control Room to the Regional Control Centre (RCC) located at Kites Croft, near Fareham. This is being provided for the South East Region as part of a national project.

The FiReControl project is working to move from the existing system of 46 local control rooms in England into nine new networked Regional Control Centres (RCCs).
FireLink is a task group set up by the Communities and Local Government (CLG) to buy and implement a nationwide radio system for the fire and rescue service (FRS).
