Appliances and equipment

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service uses a variety of appliance (vehicles) to attend incidents.

The appliances are stowed and fitted out at our Fleet Maintenance Centre located on the Headquarters site at Eastleigh.

All of the equipment carried by these vehicles has undergone stringent tests by the Community Response department. Similar equipment is often available from several manufacturers and it is one of the roles of the Community Response department to evaluate the products and its recommendations become standard equipment.
