Information Services Policies...
Please note that as this policy is periodically reviewed and updated, if you print it from the website, its accuracy cannot be guaranteed for more than a 24 hour period following printing.
Compliance with Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service’s (HFRS’s) Communication, Internet, and Intranet monitoring policy is an essential requirement for anyone who is given access to the HFRS's computer systems and communications network.
The Acceptable Use Policy is published here to ensure that users of the HFRS's computer systems can readily access the guidelines needed to comply.
The guidelines will be updated when appropriate to ensure they are fit for purpose in the light of prevaling threats.
All HFRS employees, as well as any contractor, consultant or employee of a partner organisation, who is provided with access to any computer service provided by the HFRS must comply with these guidelines. Failure to do so could result in non-compliance with the policy and lead to access to the HFRS's computer systems being withdrawn and in the case of employees, disciplinary action.
If further advice on any aspect of compliance with this policy or supporting guidelines is required, this should be directed to the appropriate Line Manager or the IS Service Desk.
