Risk maps

The information below links to a series of maps of Hampshire. They show where a number of different types of incident have happened over a two-year period (2009 to 2010 and 2010 to 2011).

We use these maps to make sure we are using our resources in the right places. In general, it shows the most incidents happen in urban (built-up) areas where our full-time fire stations are based.

The lines on the maps show the county's major roads.

Road traffic accidents risk map (opens new window) - this map shows the locations in Hampshire of road traffic accidents where one or more people were trapped and needed us to release them, between 2009 to 2010 and 2010 to 2011.
Primary fires risk map (opens new window) - this map shows the locations in Hampshire of primary fires (fires in buildings, vehicles and outdoor structures or any fire involving casualties, rescues, or fires attended by five or more appliances) between 2009 to 2010 and 2010 to 2011.
Secondary fires risk map (opens new window) - this map shows the locations in Hampshire of secondary fires (fires which are not chimney fires, did not involve casualties or rescues and were attended by four or fewer appliances. These fires will usually involve grass or rubbish) between 2009 to 2010 and 2010 to 2011.
Deliberate primary fires risk map (opens new window) - this map shows the locations in Hampshire of deliberate primary fires between 2009 to 2010 and 2010 to 2011.
Deliberate secondary fires risk map (opens new window) - this map shows the locations in Hampshire of deliberate secondary fires between 2009 to 2010 and 2010 to 2011).
