Equipment Datasheets
Each Standard Test begins with the test frequency relating to that item. Alongside each frequency is a code number which refers to the minimum level of competency required of the person carrying out the test. Before carrying out any test personnel must check that they are suitably qualified. The code numbers are listed below with details of the level of qualification associated with it.

Firefighter or above who has received instruction, or is supervised by a trained person, in the testing of this specific item of equipment. |

Qualified Breathing Apparatus Operator, Operational Equipment Technician, Operational Support Assistants or General Duties Assistants who have received instruction, or are supervised by a trained person, in the testing of this specific item of equipment. |

Firefighter or above who has received specific training on testing items of specialist equipment. This will normally involve a dedicated training session or course. |

Operational Equipment Technician. |

Equipment Technician based at Service HQ in the Stores building. |

Service Workshops. |
|
7 |
Specialist Outside Body. These vary and are contracted companies brought in for specialist purposes. These tests will normally be arranged by the ADO (E). |
