The Service Wellbeing and Fitness Adviser (SWFA), is a qualified physical fitness professional whose responsibilities include:
Co-ordinating arrangements for fitness monitoring undertaken by the Watch Fitness Training Advisers (FTA). Development and implementation of a formal physical fitness assessment programme based on the Chester Step Test; and multi stage shuttle test at intervals based on fitness of all HFRS operational personnel. The individuals aerobic fitness level will determine the frequency of subsequent tests.

Offer advice
Fitness Counsellor
Educate and inform staff on maintaining health and fitness and providing specialist input on relevant courses ie Manual Handling and FTA workshops.
