Corporate Planning Process
The original 2000/01 – 2004/05 programme included the rationale for selection and prioritisation of reviews, this included an evaluation of functional strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to success (SWOT analysis) and work with an outside consultant on our "Strategic Alignment". This original assessment has since been supported by a review and update of our SWOT analysis and an assessment of stakeholder expectations, and a review of the external (environmental) factors impacting on our operations.
This process has resulted in some reviews being re-labelled management scoping studies.

Just as important are the reviews we carry out on the provision of fire cover. These complement the Best Value and other reviews.
