Revenue budget 2011/12 summary including consultation

The budget for the Authority for 2011/12 has been set at £68,674,000. Each year stakeholders are consulted on proposed budget options. The presentation slides used for the 2011/12 budget consultation can be viewed here:

Basis of Preparation

The budget was prepared using a base budget position taking account of:

the original budget for 2010/11 increased to the November 2010 price base
the net cost of salary increments
changes in the cost of capital financing
full year effect of previous years’ growth
an estimate of the costs of inflation from November 2010 to March 2012

This budget was compiled against the background of the approved Financial Management Strategy.
