The Budget
This is the eleventh budget of the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Authority which was formed in April 1997. This is the fourth year the Authority has set its own council tax. Twenty-five councillors make up the Authority:
19 from Hampshire County Council
3 from Portsmouth City Council
3 from Southampton City Council
The present membership, together with their political affiliations is set out below:
Each member of the Fire Authority has signed up to the Government's Model Code of Conduct for Members. The provisions in the Code are mandatory and must be applied without amendment.
