Free fire youth insight days during summer holidays

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service in partnership with Prince's Trust are offering free fire youth insight days during the summer holidays across the county.

The aim of these days is to engage with local youths aged 16-25 and to give them an introduction to fire safety, arson prevention, road safety and much more. These days will also provide them with an insight into the Prince's Trust Team Programme.   

During these days there will be plenty of activities including poster competitions and the chance to win an iPod shuffle for the best poster design.

Places are limited to 20 people per day, at the following fire stations:

• Wednesday 4 August - Andover Fire Station       
• Thursday 5 August - Redbridge Fire Station, Southampton          
• Wednesday 11 August - Basingstoke Fire Station           
• Thursday 12 August - Winchester Fire Station    
• Wednesday 18 August - Southsea Fire Station      
• Thursday 19 August - Eastleigh Fire Station     
• Wednesday 25 August - Cosham Fire Station        
• Thursday 26 August - New Milton Fire Station            
• Wednesday 1 September - St Mary's Fire Station, Southampton
• Thursday 2 September - Rushmoor Fire Station

The days run from 10 am until 4 pm, admission is free and those wishing to take part must be aged between 16 and 25 years.
