This was a 6 pump fire involving a residential thatched property approx 20m x 7m. 2 hosereel jets were used and removal of the thatch. Approx 50 firefighters attended the incident. Attending appliances were 1 x Andover, 1 x Whitchurch, 2 x Newbury, 1 x Stockbridge, 1 x Winchester, 1 x Overton, the Water Carrier from Basingstoke, the Multi Role Vehicle from Eastleigh, the Special Equipment Unit from Winchester, the Land Rover from Andover, the Incident Command Unit and the Emergency Support Unit.
