Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service is committed to training to facilitate career progression for all its staff. We offer comprehensive in-house training for all staff. Alongside these courses we can also offer external further/higher education courses, training needs and requests are processed through the training support department. All members of staff should participate in the Personal Development Review System (see link below), these reviews take place annually and are conducted by line managers. In addition Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service maintains a network of Assessors (A1) and Verifiers (V1) to support and assess individuals in the service who are working towards an NVQ. NVQs are open to all members of staff.
