| Entry Criteria: | Students must have; - At least the substantive rank of Leading Firefighter - A supervisory role |
| Limits: | - 1 per watch/day crew. |
| Aims: | To enable students to take a full and active part in the assessment process of the HFRS NVQ system. |
| Objectives: | At the end of the course students will be able to: - Define the role and responsibilities of an NVQ assessor - Define HFRS NVQ system - Demonstrate good assessment practice - List evidence requirement D32/33 |
| Content: | - Background to NVQs - Structure - Qualifications - The assessment process - Importance of feedback - NVQ standards - What makes a good assessor - Administration |
