Corporate typeface

The Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service corporate typeface is Helvetica. When used consistently it creates a powerful and instantly recognisable typographic style.

Helvetica is a sans-serif font which is considered easier to read for people with some impairments. Condensed and Narrow variations should be avoided where reasonably possible.

If access to the Helvetica typeface is not available the Arial typeface should be used. This is the only acceptable alternative typeface as this font is the closest matched to Helvetica and therefore helps create visual consistency.
