Why have we built this site?

This site has been built with one simple goal in mind: Fire Safety.

We realised that in order to teach children Fire Safety and encourage them to retain the messages and important information they need to know, we'd need to make the site fun.

The aim is that, through the addition of online games, activities and quizzes, the learning aspects of this site can be more easily absorbed and children will enjoy returning to these pages to play the games.

Who is this site for?

Primarily, for the children of Hampshire. Although we hope that the content in this site will be used by children the world over and that it will help spread the message of Fire Safety.

In addition, we have also built a dedicated section for grown-ups (teachers, parents and care-givers) providing information and extra resources that can be used to consolidate learning that takes place on this website.

What's next?

Like any website, this site will continually evolve. We'll be adding new activities and interactive content as it is developed and we'll be revising content that hasn't proved to be popular.

As the Fire Service itself evolves, we'll add child-friendly content that will explain what the Fire Service does.
