A fire involving acetylene cylinders causes major disruption and the risk of explosion remains for at least 24 hours, because of the explosion risk an exclusion zone of 200 metres radius will be set up around the incident every time these cylinders are in danger of exploding at a fire.
HFRS Business Education provides quality information and education to the public of Hampshire, to reduce risk of fire within premises. We host and deliver a range of workshops and seminars on a range of subjects.
Business Education is also responsible for managing the reduction of unwanted, preventable incidents HFRS attend each year. Incidents such as:
Incidents such as these divert emergency resources, making them unavailable for legitimate emergency calls.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) are no longer able to offer fire safety training to new or existing clients.
