Equality and Diversity

- Our vision is to make life safer and we want to reduce risk in all our communities.
- We are committed to providing services which are tailored to specific need where appropriate. To improve our services, to communicate effectively and to reduce the number of incidents, we need to be open and accessible for everyone.
- Part of achieving this is to make sure that our workforce reflects that same range of people who live in our communities and to be always ready to respond to others professionally and with respect and understanding.
- Our ability to provide effective services that meet the different needs of local people depends on the make up, quality, skills and commitment of us all.
What’s in it for me?
The booklet “What’s in it for me?” supports our aim to develop a workforce that is ready and able to understand each other, are engaged in the strategic priorities of the Service and consequently be ready to serve the needs of our communities.
