Temporary Prince’s Trust Outreach Worker – Team Programme

Grade E £20,400-21,374 per annum
37 hours per week
Based at Service Headquarters

There is an exciting opportunity to work with Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Prince’s Trust team as a temporary outreach worker for 12 months (with the potential of this opportunity being extended).

As our uutreach worker you will be responsible to develop, manage and maintain effective relationships with agencies and partner organisations to generate referrals of disadvantaged, unemployed young people aged 16-25 years of age. The role will range countywide working with external partner organisations predominantly in Southampton, Andover, Gosport, Farnborough and Basingstoke though these are subject to change.

It is essential that you are able to travel, approachable, non-judgemental, personable, flexible and able to form strong working relationships with various external referral agencies.

Temporary Prince’s Trust Team Leader (North)

Grade F £22,443-23,945 per annum
37 hours per week
Based at Basingstoke

There is an exciting opportunity to work with Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Prince’s Trust team as a temporary team leader for six months (with the potential of this opportunity being extended).

As team leader you will be responsible for the recruitment and delivery of a 12 week personal development course for 18 disadvantaged, unemployed young people aged 16-25 years of age.

It is essential that you are approachable, non-judgemental, inspiring and empowering to be able to engage, enable positive change and focus our young people on their potential and not their past. It is also desirable that you have previous experience working with youth.

Temporary Health and Safety manager

Hours: 37 hrs per week

Grade K £33,998-35,784 per annum

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service are looking to recruit a health and safety manager for 6 months to lead the team through a period of change and transition. The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH diploma in occupational safety and health management or equivalent with relevant experience in a similar role. The postholder will offer viable solutions to health, safety and welfare related issues, will facilitate in decision making, development of corporate policies meeting the long term goals of the Service. Excellent communication and personal skills are essential to this role.
