Additional Responsibility Allowances

As you will be aware, the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Authority met on Wednesday, 13 February 2008, and the Authority’s Elected Members agreed the Fire and Rescue Service budget for 2008/09.  This agreement by the HFRA will enable HFRS to action the payment of Additional Responsibility Allowances to the groups of staff previously identified by the Pay and Rewards project board and, as such, an ARA payment will be made to personnel carrying out specific training duties that are outside of their specific role maps.
