About - Core Skills and Rescue School

The Core Skills and Rescue School at our Headquarters in Eastleigh offers extensive courses ranging from initial training to instructor training.

Our Training Managers are experienced and qualified to City and Guilds 7407, teacher status. Our recently completed training centre, allows a wide range of modern teaching practices to be used in fully equipped purpose built lecture rooms, further enhancing our commitment to individual learning

This facility provides the acquisition of knowledge, and supports the learning process from recruitment to competency for all new firefighters. This is achieved using a newly developed modular training programme, which has been designed around the National Occupational Standards.
