Continuous Personal Development (CPD)

This phase of IPDS deals with the requirement to continually update one's self with the changes that may have occurred since Phase 1 (Acquisition of Knowledge) was first achieved. This can take many formats but could include:

attending meetings
attending refresher courses
belonging to professional bodies

You will be required to build upon the knowledge and skills already achieved to develop yourself further.

Personnel should use the PDP process to bring to our attention any development requirements that they feel would be appropriate to them in their role or as individuals.
